Can XM be integrated into the radio?

Can XM be used with the factory radio, meaning using the display? Will it work with the Comand system? I'm looking for a clean install on a W210
Thanks for your help

Was XM available at that time? Did OEMs have the vision at that time? I think you already answered your own question.

I'm fully aware that Sat radio wasn't available in 2002. There are kits available that allow integration of an XM module so the LCD display can display text information on an OEM radio. LCD displays in car radios were around before XM. I did the search on blitzsafe.com and these kits are available for several vehicles. Don't critisize people about topics you know nothing about.

I have Sirius. Shouldn't be any difference. You can use the FM modulator that built into most radio unit. Sound quality would suffer a bit, but if you listen to talk show most of the time (Howard Stern for me), it won't change much.

I have mine up hook via casette adaptor, wire hidden from behind.
