LONG-TERM STORAGE Information Needed
I have a 1998 E320. I am going to be abroad for over 10 months. My MBZ is parked indoors. I need "experienced" and/or "knowledgable" information regarding how to properly prepare your vehicle for long-term storage.
Location: Chico, CA in a garage
Weather Summer: 80-105 degrees F
Air: Very Dry
Weather Winter: 0-38 degrees F
Air: dry with occasional rainfall
Never snows and only reaches freezing point about 10-15 days out of the year.

Fill the fuel tank and add fuel stabilizer.
disconnect the battery and put the battery on a float charger.
plug the intake and exhaust with a ragg
put he vehicle on jackstands and let the air out of the tires.
make a check list so you will remember what was done and undo it ,also change the engine oil when you come back.I hope this helps and good luck.
