MAF failure symptoms?

MAF failure symptoms?
99' E 320 85k miles
Runs fine, has stalled at stop signs but restarted OK, and has cranked but wouldn't start, waited half hour, started right up.
Check Engine Light not on.

if you have a local indy mercedes mechanic, i'd have them run the codes. even if the check engine light doesn't trip, you're computer is gathering codes everytime something wrong happens. autozone can run codes, but i doubt they would be much help in identifying the problem, as the codes are often vague and involve multiple parts at a time.

there prolly wont be any codes with those symptoms, more than likely your crank sensor, I say buy on and put it in urself, if that doesnt work your only out like 30 bux, if it does work you save yourself a lot on having someone diagnose it for u
