need advice. 19" wheel upgrade for e55
i found some wheels on ebay, 19x8 et 35mm and 19x9.5 et 40mm. i wanted to install them on my 01 e55. i want to run 245-40 in the front and 285-35 in the rear. does anyone know if this will cause any problems? can someone recomend a tire size. i want to install the widest tire possible.

Will Not Fit
Very close front fitment. Some tires may rub inside up front using 245 tire. I tried to use a 18x8 et35 with the broad shoulder Nitto NT555 and it touch up front. Went back to OEM Dunlop SP Spot 9000 which has a more rounded shoulder. That max it out up front - no more room inside. You would need 245/35/19 for front.
You should be able to use a 285/30/19 on the back, plenty of room to push the tire/wheel inward in back.
Also check the lug bolt size on the Ebay rims. W210 use 12x1.5. If 14x1.5 like from an S-Class it won't work.
