Help please, removing gage cluster '97 E420
I'd really appreciate if someone could tell me how to pull the gage cluster from my '97 E420.
I did a search which indicated that on some older cars, you hook the sides and pull it forward, but this didn't work for me.
Thanks for any help here guys,
John

don't forget to wiggle left and right, not just straight out.

Very cool guys, got it out, THANKS. Just wanted to make sure I didn't force anything.
Now that I have that done, I have a bulb out in the climate control panel (above the radio). How does that one come out?
Thanks again,
John

Those little stereo removal hooks you get at the dealer. Just go there; buy the hooks and tell them what light it is, you can walk out with everything. That's literally about a 30 second fix with the hooks.
