Hi guys, alexbenz you have a point. When i bought a E430 sport I did not know that E55 existed so after I found that out I was pissed at my sales guy and also myself for not doing better reaserch. I did not wanted to sell the car right away and get a real AMG so I did some work on the E430 and I am planning on getting one of AMG's E55 AMG 211 or CLS AMG .... We'll see what life will bring... Thanks guys

Wow - you have COMAND, wood/leather steering wheel, window tinting - all things that I like about our Mercedes.

I knew about E55 several months ago because I saw a used one for sale at my preferred dealer. It was a 2002 with less than 30,000 miles; they had sold the car new to a local engineer who traded it in for a 2006 that have about 100 more HP - plus that neat V8 Kompressor badge.

To make a long story short, I did not end up with the car (saleman's fault entirely). I am looking for another one, either W210 or W211. I hope to find one black/charcoal (or is yours ash?) like your E430.

Just my honest opinion...if your not trying to pass as an AMG...you should take off the E55 badge...just my 2 cents...

To the person who commented about your 'side markers being too much rice'
,they might dislike Honda/Toyota/Nissan embellishments on a German car,but if you like them, forget about what they say you should do with your car. I mean, I don't see them making an effort to pay for a change on your car to their suggestion.. I say it looks good,good luck with it.....

Slightly OT, but I have a spare air intake from the C43. How hard was it to get the AMG intake setup on the E430? Any major issues, or is it pretty straight forward? I might want to pop that onto the wifes car.

Upon taking a second look ,I like your exhausts. I'm sure after I was looking forever for exhaust tips I know that either your car came like that,or you got a total exhaust job. Care to divulge which one?? Nice,real nice!!!

HI ruffrob and thank you , the exhaust is Remus, sounds great when installed without resonator nice low pich when you gun it and pretty comfortable sound when driving in 2000-3300 rpm range, if install with resonator sounds like stock E55 AMG hope it helps...
