I read a thread where the heating pads were factory mounted but not the switches. Is this usual? What do I need for adding this mod?

Since it is pretty cold in Norway I really need this mod

the seats do not have heated elements unless the covers were replaced.

Welcome to the forum Eilert. I think you may be the only member joining us from Norway.

The heated seats require significant parts and wiring from the seats to the console. This is not a mod that will be easy or cheap, I'm sorry to report.
