Oil change time. Shopping for oil and this was about the lowest found during my
search. $5.15 per liter. Shipping is a fixed $7 be it 1 liter or 40 liters. If you've
seen cheaper online price, would appreciate a pointer. I might as well stock up.

IF I remember, WalMart was less. Unfortunately, we don't have Mobil stations around here or I might try their gasoline as well.
Does anyone know if there are any recommended german-made oils on the "made for USA import" list?
There is a company called "Liqui Moli" that I think is german, and we were discussing their gas-additives on another thread. That is apparently the fuel system additve that at least SOME MB dealers use, if indicated.

M, here is the updated listing: http://www.whnet.com/4x4/oil.html
There are lots of oils from Europe on the list. Some you can find, others are not exported to USA. ELF has numerous oils meeting the MBz criteria and you can find some of them on eBay.

My dealer charges more than Wally World for the *Smart Key* watch batteries though
