code p0410
I am geting the dreaded"check engine light" on my 1997 E420.
Downloaded the code it is P0410 secondary injection system.
I did a search and could not find anything.
Has anybody troubleshoted this before.

Most of the time, P0410 is either caused by dead air pump, or dirty injection.
In the morning, open up the hook, turn on the key, but not to start the engine, you should hear a hiss sound. If not, your air pump is dead.
If you still hear the hiss, then it's likely that your fuel injection is dirty. A can of BG44K or Techron (the $20/bottle can, not those $2.99 at Costco) would fix it after a tank or two.
