It appear to be Depo halogen. If you can verify, that would help. They use
H7 high and low beam, with W5W wedge mount city light bulb. These can be
had for $300 cheaper from Autodynamic.com

be aware that the Depo are pretty decent in construction, but their light output
is *worst* than the factory MB halogen H7. so you're taking a step forward in
appearance ie they look fabulous when installed....but also taking one step back
since they lose as much as 15-20% in lighting. the projector itself (reflector and
lens) is the culprit here. just wanted you to know that after spending that
amount of money, you'll not be lighting up the pavement any better. quite the
opposite.

i bought the Depo and was very disappointed...after several minutes of operating
them after installation. i added premium bulbs but was still dissatisfied and
after consulting with lighting folks, realized that to keep the clear lens appearance
*and* have improved lighting, dropping in an HID projector was the only option.
this added another $400 to the cost. but I'm smiling now :-D a true HID
lighting system will do that.
