Stretch W210 Wagon - any info?
Has anyone ever seen or heard anything about a stretch W210 wagon? Pics, web info, etc?
When I was at the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, I was flipping through one of the large model books, showing every model ever created (I think). While trying to verify the existance of a W210 wagon with manual transmission, I saw this stretch W210 wagon. Serious, the thing had 6 doors and three rows of seats. It was insane. I think the book was in German, so I couldn't make out much about it.
Hat Ich su viel Bier getranken, or was this real? Does anyone have this model book? What other kind of whacked out Benz were officially created?

Just as in the US, models are modified, it was probably a custom factory job. There are probably some MB funeral cars, which are custom bodied at either the factory or afterward

Binz in Germany specializes in customizing Benz's and other German makes for people all over the world. They have produced stretched limos, hearses and other special function vehicles (ambulances etc) out of Benz's for years...and it seems the E class chassis is one of their favorites for modification.

209/W210 Estate /W211 modded by MBENZNL
A friend of mine has a BINZ W210 4 door pick up here in So Cal..Its stretched aprox 18 inches..Not a Bad job...It Will SOON be a E55 pick up...

There it is!! The uber UBER wagon!! Hey, it must be official if it was in the official model book. I think it would be hysterical to own a 6 door stretch wagon. Parking it and driving around corners, yeah, that wouldn't be so hysterical.

Hi did see your old post , I have a W210 6 door wagon , its a genuine factory Mercedes , and was ony offered on special order , I don't now how manny car where build ,it has a special chassis number and becouse there only 80 cm bigger they are stil a joy to drive , not beeing a limo make's this car so special , my car was used by a famous make of clothing to drive there models around . for the rest I have litle to no info so if any one can provide me with how manny are made or any other info is welcome
