Cold air intake.
Folks! hey i have an E 420 and i wanted to know, have any of u E class (w210) owners, added on cold air filters onto your cars? i mean like, pull out the big box that's in there, and added, a cold air intake set? how was the difference in performance? and how was ur price range?

I Tried SEVERAL types of (COLD) air intakes..NONE of them gained HP several LOST HP!!...As I did the testing with the use of a dyno...Dont waste your time and or Money

The only one I've seen that could qualify as a true CAI is the one from Gruppe M, but it isn't cheap. The others just suck in hot air from under the hood.

Yeah I wanted the same thing too but my car already has a cold air. It sucks air from the grill. Those intakes just look pretty and open your throttle body.

Just get a K&N filter it only cost about $50.00 dollars. I currently have one and I have no problems with mine.
