ATTN: V6 owners w/ MAF issues

i replaced the maf insert w/ one from a VW for 1/4 of the price and my car runs back to normal

i did this w/ my c320 but its all the same. thought i'd share this w/ u peeps

yes, I'd like to know too. I tried putting the bosch maf from my mb into my friend's VW passat (2001) and it was definitely not happy.

Yeah, a lot of the VW guys are trying to fit the Pierburg Benz MAFS to their cars. In some cases it seems to be acceptable. In other, way too much smoke from their diesel.

The newest (redesign) MAFS is around $100 for the TDi.
