19 X 8.5" wheel with 24 offset for 97 E320
Hi Guys,
Will the captioned wheel size fit the front of a 97 E320 with out problems? The tire size is 225/40 if that matters.

Most likely it will rub. Those wheels obviously aren't made for the W210 based on the offset. Wouldn't be surprised if they have 14mm ball seats instead of 12mm, which would require custom lug bolts.
225/40/19 tires are not a very good match to OEM tire+wheel diameter (possible speedo & traction control error). With proper offset, your front tires should be 245/35/19.
If you do go for 225/40/19, make sure you get tires with adequate load rating (~93). Maybe Whitey can chime in, as I think he has experience with non-standard tire sizes.
