Need Help Check Engine Light
My check engine light just came on the message it’s displaying ( Engine Electronics ).
The car is vibrating at idle once it gets to 40 mph you can hardly fill it but you can tell it’s in limp mode. Benz wants to charge me 150 to 200 dollars just to look at it.
I changed the oil last month but I didn’t reset the FSS could that be the cause of the problem.
Thanks,

Take it into Autozone. They'll hook it up to a reader and the computer will tell you exactly what's wrong.
And they can reset the check engine light - but most likely it will come right back on until your fix whatever is wrong.

When that happened to me ('98 E430 then) the dealer wanted only $95 for the diagnostics. Maybe it would be best to follow golfboy's advice and take it to your local AutoZone.

I would also recommend taking it to AutoZone. They will plug in the OBDII reader to your car and pull the codes. In my experience, they have never tried to upsell me in the process.
You could also purchase your own OBDII reader and pull your own codes from home.
