ok guys here is what i did, i swapped the amp out of a 1995 S420, with my 1997 e420, the amp from the s-class was a bit bigger, plus i really admired the way the older s class's sound systems really knocked. so now i have an s class sub in my E420, and i'll tell you, it does power the speakers a bit more, what really moved me with the s-class's soundsystem was the bass. 4 subs in the rear deck. really sounded nice. i also added 2 more subs into my e class. kinda like a DIY. so now i also have 4 subs in my rear deck. there is def. an improvement in bass, it's a lot deeper., but the s class's setup was waay better sounding. i'm trying to figure out what i'm missing here. are the wiring setups different? from the s-class and e class? i mean i know the s-class is a 10 speaker setup. my car i believe has all the wiring setup for that 10 speaker upgrade at mercedes. i just wanna know where are the other two wires located to power thsoe extra 2 subs i added? i tried bridging each sub with the other one by splicing the wires, and having both subs share power of the right and left subs that were there before. but what else should i be aware of? anyone think it's the headunit? HELP PLEASE! THANKS!
