Airbag 1997 E320

I am in charge of finding a replacement steering wheel airbag for my employers 1997 E320. The bag appears in good condition, never deployed. The airbag light came on a week ago and the mercedes mechanic said that the wheel airbag has failed. The unit I am told is VERY expensive so I am suposed to look for alternatives. My questions are will a bag out of a C-Class fit (there is one on ebay that looks the same) and are there any secrets to changing a bag on a Mercedes. I have changed plenty of airbags on American cars but I have found that there is always a trick when working on Non-American (IE Resets, Computers required to match Components Etc.)

I think the airbag replacement is a direct replacement; just need to make sure the key is not on ignition. But, I can't take responsibility for it. Please contact dealer to confirm.

Actually, I have 99 airbag. If you are interested, $200 plus shipping.
