Large puff of white and blue smoke!!
The E320 (1998) has been dirty for quite a long time and it was today I decided to wash it. So I started it (cold engine) and drove the car infront of the garage and washed it. An hour and a half later, I went to start it to put it back into the garage (yeah I know that not warming up your car is bad) and when I did, I looked back and there was a pretty big cloud of white smoke where the exhaust pipe is. I ran out and also saw a bit of blue smoke in the middle of the white smoke cloud. It did smell like something was burning. The whole thing probably lasted just less than 5 seconds. The thing is, this has NEVER happened before. Do you guys have any ideas??
BTW, the last oil change was last year and I still have about 4000 miles to go. Strangely, the car started leaking oil out of the bottom maybe around 3 months after the oil change. The shop uses 5W40 Motul oil. The oil level has dropped a bit but the computer says it's fine. Anyway, my main concern is the smoke!

ur engine would be smoking if you have a blown head gasket.
But my guess yould be the exhaut o-rings. Better yet check if the engine starts warm or cold to determine the problem.
I think these things happen on cold starts
