will they fit

hello, i am new to this site but hope to stay. anyway i have a 1997 e-420 some is selling me a nice set of rims but the tires on them are 235/50/18 will they fit? i went online and a calculator said it was almost 8% more daimeter and they recomend not more than 3%, please help, I want to negotiate a better price if i need to buy new tires. thanks

chance are good that they will rub. to what degree will depend on the tire
profile, your suspension set up, and the offset of the rims.

Is The car lowered? I Have the AMG E55 Monoblocks with 245/45/18 on the front and My Wagon IS Lowered..No Rub So 50 Series may Not rub on a Non lowered car?

Buy new tires! That 235/50 is too tall and that 8% difference is way to much. Ideally you should be running a 235/40/18. You may be able to run a 245/40/18 depending on offset and width, etc. May need to roll fenders.

Also, if the tires are 235/50/18 what car did they come off? The rims may not be for a W210 with wrong offset or use wrong size bolts.

the rims are mandrus, i think they are made for mercedes, 5 x 112 bolt pattern 18 x 8.5 with 32mm offset, more insites wil be appreciated.

Sounds like the rims will fit. Make sure you get/use the correct lug bolts. Your OEM bolts have a Ball or Radius seat and those Mandrus, made by TSW, maybe Cone seat.
