While we are on the subject of grills.....
I would love to do something other than the completely stock grill on my Desert Silver 02, but......
what options are even realistic?
I looked at several different high-end customizing shops here in Los Angeles, and have not been able to come up with anything "off-the-shelf" that is designed or intended for the updated e320s.
Any pics of some (others) that have been modded or fabricated would be great to help me come up with a plan.

Do a search on grills, very possibly you see pics of the infamous grill with the MB star in the center, not my personal cup of tea,but you may like it. Good luck with your modification....

I'm not real fond of the star grill myself, but I have to admit that it is a decent attempt to change the look of the car in a somewhat subtle way.
I'm still looking and trying to decide what would look good and what might be possible. Hopefully i can figure out something that is both.

I wish someone would do a photoshop with a few different looks. One I would like to see is the mesh-style grill, like the one the Jags have.
Another style I would like to see is the color-keyed grill. One of the members here has a black car with a black grill and it looks pretty good.
I have seen black on other colors, but don't like them. White on white, silver on silver...that's what I'd like to see.
I would not put something like that on until I saw it on a same-colored car as mine though.
