Interior Light Timer?
'97 E420, when I shut the door today the lights didn't dim and turn off after a few seconds as usual, they stayed on for maybe 5 minutes before shutting off.
Would this most likely be a door switch or the timer?
Thanks -
John

im thinking the door pin/switch. try this: build it up eg putting aluminum foil
ball at the end of the switch and see what the result is. if light turns off quicker
then it seems to point to a switch adjust.

Hey Raymond G,
Thanks a lot for the reply!
I fixed it, at least temporarily. I pushed the driver door switch in and out by hand, which didn't fix it. Then I did the same with one of the rear door switches, and it seemed to start working again.
So probably a sticking (or mis-adjusted) switch. Thanks again.
