amg or sport aero mods

amg or sport aero mods
hi, has anyone here installed the amg aero stuff on their e-class? just toying with idea of swapping stock front bumper/fogs for the sport set up. any advice or known headaches involved? thanks in advance for any info.

The only problems i've heard of are that they need to be painted at a body shop, and sometimes the holes don't line up perfectly, and they have to be 'massaged' a bit to get them to fit.
I'm very close to doing this to my car too, just a matter of planning. I like the carlsson body kit better than the amg for my '96-'99 model year E-class. The new amg kit is pretty sweet though =] Expect to pay around $1000 to have it installed/painted. The kits are front/rear bumpers and side skirts, all of them for the most part. Don't forget the side skirts! =]

still thinking it through...also havent found a recommended local body shop for this work, dont know if dealer body shop is of better quality than indie shop either. if anyone has info re that , appreciate it. my local mb dealers are competition smithtown and maybe rallye in roslyn , ny. maybe i'll post new thread to get opins on that subject.
btw , was quoted about $2500 for full amg kit w/fogs , oem, unpainted , from wheelexperts.com.
also, wouldnt my almost new , 040 black , stock setup be worth something to local shop?
