guys... i just bought a 1997 E36 AMG with 105k kms....approx 62-65k miles
silver in color.....
i would appreciate any info available on what to watch out for on these cars.
this is my first w210.
also, i need to start tricking it out with some projectors and tails, avantgarde grill, debadge hood and a carlsson trunk lip spoiler........
does anyone know where i can get this stuff cheap, bearing in mind that i'm in south africa and i'll need to ship the stuff out here.
slamming on a set of 19" or 20" brabus monoblock VI tomorow....
what tyre size is recomended for the 20"?

Congrats on your new car,I love the E36 but I dont know much about them, infact I did a search on here and found this post!!!
All I know Is they have 206kw 4 speed auto, AMG bodykit and there wernt many built. The last one I saw for sale was $40k+ but that was about a year ago, that was at the time a simmilar price to the E430 Avantgarde. What attracts me to them is that they are a genuine AMG W210 but at around half the price of an E55 W210. I know the E430 is a monster of a car, and they both have simmilar power outputs, so the AMG should be quick too, but then again, its a big car.
How does the E36 perform 0-100, where are its strenghts performance wise, and how does it handle? Does it have the E55 brakes? The ones I've seen have had only the Avantgarde trim, did they come with AMG interior, EG nappa seats, AMG wheel etc?
