Well there's only one way to find out if your car can beat a C43. I'll have some stck C43's come out to Captree and we'll line em up! And in that case I'll bring out the E36 M3 to be fair.
My C43 is in the bodyshop.

also just for $h!t$ and giggles heres a dyno of my car, in L.I.M.P. mode. anyone with a 1996 benz knows that we dont have a esp off button. so i disconnected the abs system compleatly. I was told after that it puts my car in to limp mode. i still have more hp.
that translates to 260 at the crank, in limp mode.

There is nothing wrong with the C43, Tranny in S mode, Green filters, service B service completed few weeks ago.
Contact any of the members in the "small NYC get together" thread in the events and gatherings forum, and all of them will tell you how this car goes. After the meet we all drove down for drag races at the beach. Not even RiffyB's ML55 was quicker than Tom's E320.

You're jumping to conclusions where infact it is you who are wrong. I was a passenger in the C43. PM AMGJared, he's the owner of the C43. Tom's E320 stays 1/2 a car length ahead of the C43 until 60 where the C43 fully overtakes and starts slowly putting lengths on the car.

A C43 puts down 233 to 240 whp on the dyno with the harness connected! I dyno my C43(5.5L) with the harness off and it does not go into limp mode. Look at what my car puts out to the wheels with the harness disconnected.
Exactly what it should.From my experience the C36's are slow and put out about 210 to 220whp. Clk 430 wil runawy from them as well. Much lighter than any heavy body W210 E-class.

dude, i've been asked this question hundreds of times. I have no idea. I would post up my kills in the kill section but no body would ever belive me. I wouldn't belive me eather. It has come to the point where i eather have a c36 motor or my engine is on crack. Eather way i bennifit. I mean honestly would would ever in their right mind belive i ran 1 car legenth behind a sti all the way up to 120, with 2 other people in the car. comon, i'd call bs on my self if i didnt know me. well those are the facts. I'll gladly go to jones with ya and prove my self against my friends c43 when i get my car back. look, its the truth. as far fetched it is, thats the truth.

OK well let me drive the C43 and this way I could see for myself. I'll be out at Captree with the black one in my sig next week. It's unfair to figure that your E-Class is faster than a C43 if the guy had someone in the car and does'nt drag race it at E-town on the reg like I do.

very true but i belive the weight on a c43 and a e320 is off by a a couple 100 pounds.

also, i only got 1 run in with the harness off. when i get my car back and i pay for my ecu ::i'm getting someone do a custom ecu job for me:: etc etc etc, i will be doing a another few dyno runs. I'd like you to come with me because you know more about benz's then i do, and you prob know of a better dyno place. I'm kinda pissed that they never gave me a toqrue rateing eather. The other runs with the harness on i was getting 180, 190, tops. I also have a clog'd cat so i'm going to the dealer when i get my car back and replace that to hold be over as i wait to get my custom headers with no cats, the high flow resinator that you have, ::es i read your post. you kinda inspired me to do it lol::: to get a bit more performance.

He didn't kill me by any means. I had a full tank of gas and a passenger...he had less then a quarter of a tank and was alone. He had an excellent launch, my launch was not so great. Up until 60 he had me from roughly 1/2 car to 1 car length...but then from there on I took him. I'm sure most of you know that the C43 has excellent top end but not as great as it should be off the line. Also I have these terrible 245 front tires and 275 rear tires that have horrible scraping issues which I assume aren't aligned. None the less his E320 is very impressive...even with just the GruppeM intake it is faster then other E320's with just that modificiation I'm sure. I don't know what's done to the car, apparently the headers are aftermarket and the exhaust piping looks bigger. I wish you guys would stop arguing and bashing on each other. What you just read is what just happened. End of discussion.

I did let off at 90ish but still if i kept on it he woulda had me
I did have him up to 50ish tho
