E class Blue tinted windows anyone?

E class Blue tinted windows anyone?
I have a ‘01 E55 with the factory Blue tinted windows does anyone have these windows and can I use a Radar detector like V1 rear mount sensor or are these windows IR coated? Thanks

well, i'm not sure about the back, ::i too have a v1:: but for the front mount your soposta mount it next to the rear view mirror, its a gap that the mercedes made so that you CAN use radar effectivly, about the back window call up the stealership and they'll tell ya.

only ones that have this glass are the amg's and some sport models but 2000+ ...........many amg's have radar systems so i'm pretty sure you'll be fine with the v1.....
