Crank Position Sensor for 1996 E320

Does anyone kow the exact location of the crank position sensor on 1996 E320(probably with a 1995 engine? A search here revealed the position for other models but not this one. It doesn't seem to be on the same spot the other models or atleast I could not find it.

On the right hand side, facing the engine block. Between the engine and the water pump. Close to the frontal tip, covered by some cables, otherwise clearly visible and reachable

Sorry, that's the camshaft position sensor , not the crank position sensor (reference sensor). The position of the CPS on a 96 E320
seems to be one big secret of mercedes benz entusiasts. A search here and other similar sites turned up similar questions but no answer regarding its location. It is hard to believe that nobody here knows since it's a common problem. May be the those who care to share do not know and those who know do not care to share.

cps location

Hey guys, I found this link. Hope it helps someone here:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...eplacement.htm

Also I was able to reach it from below. Mine needs a 5mm allen wrenchy/bit.
Came out real easy. Photo's not to sharp, I had to hold up the camera without seeing the screen, but you get the idea.
It sits right above the starter.
