Front Suspension!

Well, the car was making noises and it was bothering me so I decided to take it to a shop. There was also fluid leaking out from the bottom of the car which included:
Power steering pump
Reservoir
Fan belt
Idle pulley
2L powersteering fluid
Ball joints
Sway bars

Total comes to around $1600. Now I wanted to ask you guys is there anything that can go wrong with the rear suspension?

The subject of your post should have been 'Power Steering!' Ball joints & sway linkages together probably set you back only $350 out of the $1600.

I that's about right. Around $300-400 for the suspension parts. Also, my gasket for the oil pan is leaking. Seems to be a slow leak so i'm just leaving it for now.

just replaced my lower ball joints. The parts we 90 bucks for both ( OEM orginals mercedes ) and had the labor for $100 and that included the front wheel alignment.. Not to bad of a deal
That 300+ mark sounds a tad high.

Beat them up a little and offer cash.

Only a $100 for labour? I'm getting the ball joints for about the same price but the labour is around $200... Anyway, i'm picking up the car tomorrow. Want to see if they did anything about my wheel bearings. Don't know if you guys have had any problems with your bearings?

They did not say there was a problem with the bearings. They did replace a sway bushing as well. I was more worried about the control arm bushing being bad also. So this repair was not to bad on the wallet.
The new issue is a head gasket. Now that for sure will lighten up the wallet.
