Changing Turn Signal to White Illegal??? more..
Went to a local shop and see if they can change the turn signal on my E55 from orange to hyper white all around and they told me that if i change the turn signal lights on the front it's ok but if i were to change the turn signal on the rear it would be illegal??? Can someone pls confirm this???

Jam, check your State's Traffic code. Each one is unique in it's own way. Here that information would be accurate. Only Amber or red. No white light to the rear at all, except reverse lights.

Thanks Randy! Reason why i tried to do this is because i saw a W210 class making lane change and the guy's turn signal was hyper white and it looked prety good.

did this place you took it say they can change the lights on your mirrors to white as well? if they change everything.. then changing the rear turn lights won't too hard. ..i think the hardest is the lights on the mirror.
what funny is if you look at the turn signals on the volvo's, they have a clear lens but at night.. they don't look amber at all... they look clear (in a halogeny way)... i guess if it's hyper white.. it would attracting the law in a way...most states are not too strict about hyper white turn signals ...although it's illegal.. they won't pull you over for it. They may add that on to your speeding ticket
