'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
I'm assuming so because I didn't need to shave any plastic what-so-ever. All I did was need to bend the metal tabs on the socket out a little more to make better contact. Then I had to hit certain edges on the metal plate on the tail light to hold the socket in place (i didn't pound in the edges just a small tap). Hope that helped

My stock OEM lights fit perfectly, these ones where a little harder but they went in fairly easily. They look nice and perform quite well....I was expecting a horrible outcome but always think positive. If you do purchase cheap tail lights all you need is patience and be crafty, then you'll save yourself a few 100$

Ebay > W210 Tail Lights > Purchase........remember they won't fit as easy as the OEM that are in your car right now. Read up to figure out how to make the bulbs work. Take some pics of before / after and post them I want to see!

Yeah, the weather gets nice and warm in the valley and I'm sitting in Dallas for the week getting freakin pounded by huge rain, thunder and lightning storms! This sucks!
Hey josh, BTW IMO unless you have a personalized license plate, you should trade in your plates for the newer ones without the sun. They look much better and cleaner...

1999 E300 TurboDiesel
Hi Ho Silver
I don't know if you've fit your lenses in yet, but I acquired a stock 00-02 set from Steve@MBenzNL and I had to extend the wiring for the right side backup unit just a few inches. Also had to alter the housing to make them fit. BTW my '99 E300 TurboDiesel is silver, but I have these rock picks in the paint from the PO following traffic too closely. I hate that.

Jimmy, I totally agree with you about updating the license plate....but your right it's personalized. I might go down to the DMV one of these days and get it updated! Good eye.
