Ignition Coil

Are you talking about ignition coil?

What kind of problem you got with your car?

I just did on my E-420 spark plugs and one ignition coil change.

Search under my user name HADAM and you will find post and photos etc.

Its really pretty simple. Find out which cylinder it is, pull off the plenum cover, remove the plastic valve cover from that side, remove two nuts from the coil and pull it out, pull the electrical connector off, remove the plug rubber insulator, install the plug rubber insulator on the new coil, plug it back in, insert the coil, tighten the nuts, replace the valve cover, put the plenum back on and start her up.

May take 25/30 minutes. But of course I've done about four of mine and I'm an old pro at it. If I can do it you can.

PS: the engine code will clear itself after it does a "driveability check".
