Because it's an iron block diesel motor, which is much heavier, the front is too low

even with the tallest spring pads. e320, e420, and even e55's i've seen with the SAME springs are higher than my car is....

Yeah, Chris, Tire Rack is negligent for continuing to sell those springs to diesel owners. They don't work. I don't know how much better they are in a V8 car. They should be acceptable in a V6 car.

You were going to share this with prospective buyers, right?

I'll be installing some E55 spring on my dies within the next week or so, the upgrade should be complete. I'm gonna run a #1 pad up front and see how that works.. I'll try to post pix when done for reference to the diesel players.
