idk, but an si put up a decent fight against me last night. I got a really bad launch, left a 20 foot 11. But at 60 i have a car legenth on him. IMO, you'd kill him at anyspeed espicialy over 60.

The Accord V6 coupe only has 240HP, weighs a hefty 3300 lbs, and creeps its way to 60 in 5.9 seconds. Try to keep the RPMs under 6000. You'll smoke him. So quit worrying about your phallus.

Im confused.

How will a 3500lb car with 220bhp smoke a 240hp 3300lb car?

It won't unless the e320 is laying down some serious torque...which we all now they don't.

The E320 isn't a race car unless you throw in a compressor kit for about $9500. To me it's not worth hooking up a 10 year old car for that much money.

Save your engine and your transmission and stop racing. If you want to race go buy a Mustang.

My '04 Accord coupe V6 6 speed ran a 14.2@99mph bone stock...just some FYI

Please don't race your E320, it's just stupid

Agreed. But the E320 is still preety good stock. 0-60 in 6.7-6.9 seconds and once you do some suspension work, it will handle relatively well.

No doubt about it, the E320 is an awesome car with some excellent response on the freeway. I personally don't like to push my car like a racer car though. In my lifetime I've learned that pushing a 10 year old car to the limits (stomping on the pedal, switching gears at high speeds, trying to peel out, etc.) ruptures seals and head gaskets and just costs you more money in the long run. Not to mention it turns an awesome car into a piece of crap. Some dude pulled up to me in a Neon one night reving his engine, and I laughed and let him blow by me. There's no comparison between a fine European automobile and a freakin Dodge.

My E320 has about 78,000 miles on it, and I roll in it like an old man. I truely believe it'll last longer if I baby it. Occassionally when i role out to Phoenix I'll take it up to a 100 or 120 on the freeway, just to get the oil flowing, but that's about it. If it's in good shape in about 3 years, it'll be an excellent trade in for my '05 S500.

No joke. If you want to race a 15 second car, go by a civic or something to beat on.

or better yet, buy a car that at least has the ***** to make things interesting.

finally, GO TO THE TRACK TO RACE

well, you gotta have some fun with the car also. these cars can handle a little bit of abuse. i;m not saying to race every idiot with a honda at every stop light, but once in a while it's ok to drive like schumacher.
by the way the e320 would win anyday against any accord.

all im saying is put the questions like these in off topic. this section is for W210 cars and is beginning to be useless with useless threads. im here to learn about my car not see how fast it goes. this section should be for info only. ie: removing door panels, lug bolt patterns... things like these. not how fast have u gone. threads like these make the forum less visited and less informed with info needed. especailly for a world wide forum. i know there are alot of (ill say) younger gentleman in here happy to have a benz, but for christ sake if u have stupid questions take to off topic. please dont flutter the sections that need info.

thank you.

edit: just an example. i see theres a thread that a guy needs help with the rear sub frame mounts. now no one has tried to help or even send him in the right direction. but what happens... a thread about racing a luxury car on the streets, it gets flooded with non sense and useless info. people claiming numbers that were never proven. u miss inform others who need the real info. now im not a specialist which is why im here to learn, so i cant accuratly answer the man about sub frames with these cars. but im sure theres someone here that knows but doesnt visit much or if any cause of non sense threads like these.

this is not to offend anyone just relize what your doing to this forum.

an accord could never handle at really high speeds as good as an e320. put in a race 5 e320;s and 5 accords, and let them race for about half hour, then see who the first 5 are.

Why would anybody race for a half an hour at high speeds in 10 different 220-250hp cars? Stupid
