misfire

Hi Everyone. This one is small problem that gives me a big pain in @$$.

After replacing the motor in 97 E420 I got a misfire on 1-4 (right side only).
No codes are given besides a P070X Misfire
It is running rough on idle and up to 1200-1500 rpm and its absolutely fine on the road.

And I am simply out of clues ….
This what was done and checked on the car so far:
-Spark plugs
-Coils
-Injectors
-Impulse on coils and injectors
-Right cat converter
-Right CO sensor
-Compression in cylinders
-Vacuum lines
-Sensor adaptation is reset

?????
not checked:
-Computer or harness (low possibility) -can not test.
-Timing (very low possibility) as at the best of my knowledge the motor was never taken apart. But I will check that tomorrow.

Please send all your suggestions. Thanks.

Can you break that down slightly more detailed for the non-mechanics out here. I had a similar problem with my E320. I misfired, the computer shut off a couple of the cylinders, so I had the spark plug connections changed. I've been okay so far, but on occassion at a red light it idles like it's about to misfire again. I don't think it's a big problem, just a pain in the butt.

Plug wires?

My 02 E320 was mis-firing, replaced the plug wires and problem solved.

It changes all the time
Ryder,
You are to be commended, not for solving the problem, but for taking the time to post the answer. Most people ask for help, get answers, solve their problem, and go about their way without a thanks or any feedback. You are rare.
