Fog lights always out
Is this just a Mercedes thing? My fog lights are always out. Everytime a nice swift kick puts them back on. Its never the same one either. There is always one coming on, never both, and never none. one or the other. Can anyone let me know if they have the same problem or how I can fix it? That check lamp malfunction get on my last nerve!

Check your connectors for corrosion and cracking. Also check the wiring. Sometimes due to the high pressure car washes the wiring gets corroded. Yo can also upgrade the wiring harness from the stealer.

I would say that has to be a problem with some connection. I'm sure the dealer (or whomever you use) can fix that in a jiffy.

Mine were doing the same thing. I went to the stealer and purchased the foglight wire harness upgrade for both sides. When I did the change I noticed that the wires were corroded so I corrected that also. One thing I forgot was that there is a plastic sleeve covering the solder connections for the foglights. Well after I installed the upgrade the bulb blew again after 2 months. Upon inspection I found that water got into the sleeve and shorted out blowing the bulb. And of course the corrosion was back again. Redid the connections by soldering and taping it up this time and then sealed the ends of the plastic sleeve. Been good to go ever since.
