OBDII smog problems

Help me out please. I have a 97 e420 and it passed California emmissions no problem. However, three of the OBD self diagnostic tests seem to be continuous running and never complete. I only need one more to clear to pass this damn test. All the techs say I have not met the criteria for the test to stop, i.e., driven enough miles since the vehicle was last worked on; but when I say Ive driven aprox. 2k miles they shrug and are confused. Disconnected the battery but that was three months ago to install a stereo. New cat and 02 sensor were installed but again that was aprox. 2k miles ago. Sorry for the lengthy descript. but looking for some help other than the dealer--isnt California just wonderful.

thanks much, Jason

hahahaha, SAME PROBLEM. Trust me it wont EVER pass, about a month ago i found out the cause on my car and it was a bad 02 sensor, so you might want to get that checked out
