Changed Brakes

Just got my brakes changed today. Got some slotted brembo rotors and akebono ceramic brake pads. So far so good, just thought id share since not too many people on the board have this done.
Before pics

And the after shots

And finally a garage shot.

Congrats on the new brake job - I did my first brake job about 2 months ago - replaced the old rotors with brembo (slotted) rotors and hawk pads - pain in the a$$ in getting the old rotors off - but, the rest was easy with a lot of patience - yes, so far, so good and so, so sweet!

my best to you -

I just want to do the fronts only for now. I have a small sound. You hear it with the speed of the car (drive slower sound is slower). Im thinking its a wheel bearing? Also what tools do I need. Ive read about a torx wrench? Ive done brakes before, but I just want to save some $$. I was quoted about $170 for the front. But I figured I could do it for under $100 for the pads and a new bearing. Anyone want to lend some advice on pads (yeah I did search) and tips. I want to do a good job but cost efficient.

Thanks

The rims are 19s, and I had the brakes installed by a mobile MB tech in my area. Labor was 175, rotors were 200, pads were 85, total $460. The pads are akebono (Used in the MP422 Mclaren Mercedes F1 car) which are supposed to produce almost no dust with an increase in braking performance. Yeah the rotors are small, but seeing as how imma sell the car anyways later on, i thought id just get an OEM replacement instead of the C32s. But i like em, its enough stopping power for me
