Cold air intake and exhaust....
I noticed that no one makes a cold air intake or exhaust for my 2000 E320. If so I can not find one anywhere. Why is this? Is it because the factory ones are very effecient?

Cold air intakes are for morons that work on their cars in a Pep Boys parking lot by hitting the carburetor with a hammer.
German cars, OTOH, are engineered, and the aftermarket can offer no improvements.
Of course the OE system is plenty efficient--the car is designed for high-speed Autobahn runs.

GruppeM make intake kits for MB V6 and V8s but they come at a huge price tag
you can do it the hard way and start building your own kit as long as you manage to figure out how to avoid the flow of hot air
