battery/alternater warning

320 cdi year 2000
battery/alternater warning
Hi guys new member living in ireland here with a question about the warning I'm getting. After the warning message the glowplug light comes on for about 30 seconds and then goes out. The battery seems to be charged up ok I'm wondering if it is a problem with one of the glowplugs? The car is a 320 cdi by the way! (2000) Thanks for your help.

similar issue on a 96 W210
It was a bad glow plug. I would see the GP light come on and go off while driving and then it stayed on after months of doing this. Have them checked and maybe the GP Relay
