First of all, I think you must mean Xenon - that is a gaseous element at room temperature. The latest and greatest are called Bi-Xenon but I do not think you can get them for a 2002 E430.
Look for posts on here by zam2000 - I think he is the expert. Just off the top of my head, good xenon headlamps will cost you a bit more than $150.

Those are fine, but like many of the members that have been around can agree with me: kits <<<<<<<< retro-fit. Go to HIDplanet.com and read up on it. Save your money and do it right.

Thanks cneedham810!
I bounced back from PIAAs to SilverStar, but, I have been entertaining and HID kit setup - hopefully this aftermarket kit will work well - watch, I get the one kit that bypasses QC and it's torched!
cneedham810, where did u attached the balast?

I did a quick install where I put the drivers side ballast on the wheel well which is just the open space right there and I put the passenger side ballast underneath the light where there is a small area for it to slide in. I basically just looked at the engine and looked for some open space to put it. Probably not the best install but it does the job.

cneedham810 - thx for the tip for setting up the ballast - I got my hid kit and it looks very nice - good quality lighting and yes, it's a very easy plug & play kit with no error message.
