coolant leaking out
I was driving my car a week ago and to my surprise the "low coolant" thing lit up on the dash so I topped it off and it went away, about a week later it came on again. I knew something had to be up, when I got home I decided to look around. When I look down into the engine, on that cover that covers the bottom of the engine there is coolant there. I can hear it dripping, but can see where it's coming from. The car runs fine and smooth as usual, no check engine light either...any suggestions?

Mine did the exact same thing. It was leaking about 1 inch above the lower hose input, draining down into the lower pan just like yours is. It may hold together or it may not. I just replaced the radiator and all is well now.

so the radiator had some sort of hole in it?

Mine looked like the water pump too. I guess water was being slung up on the pump from drving the car. After doing a pressure test we saw the leak. It was in the wall/fins of the radiator, facing the engine , just above the lower hose connector.
