Unhappy OEM suspension - K&N FILTERCHARGER

[COLOR=crimson][FONT=times new roman][SIZE=3][SIZE=1]
HI, MY E320 HAS A (K.A.W.) SPRINGS THAT'RE LOWERED BY 25MM I.E. ONE INCH AND THE CAR RIDES ON A (235/40 ZR-18) TYRES WITH (O.Z.) RACING WHEELS WITH A OEM SHOCKS (SACHS), THE PROBLEM IS THAT DESPITE A WELL STABLE AND CONTROLABLE RIDE, I'M SUFFRING WHEN DRIVING ON UNEVEN AND BUMPY ROADS WHICH I DO ON A DAILY BASIS AND THE CAR IS PAYING THE TOLL OF ALL THAT, WHICH'S EVIDENT BY A NEW RATTLES AND SQUEAKS IN THE CABIN AND THE CHASIS, IS REPLACING THE EXISTING SETUP WITH A OEM SPRINGS GOING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
I JUST INSTALLED A K&N FILTERCHARGER, HOW MANY EXTRA HORCES THE CAR WILL GAIN? AND WHAT ABOUT THE MPG AS WELL?
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If you change to OEM springs and wheels that will help. Because when you're running the OEM wheels it's not as bouncy as the 18's when you hit potholes. Also the stock springs are designed for comfort not like the ones you are using now.

For K & N i've heard you don't realy gain much probably an extra 5hp?? Not sure about the mpg?? Hope this helps.

Another cause could be that your car is now riding at a lower height and stiffer spring setting than the shocks were designed for. Try gettins some Koni Adj and setting them to soft or medium. That should help, while keeping your lower ride.
