I am gonna put 4's in and see if that helps.
Eibachs so it should be pretty easy since they're > 1" shorter than stock.
traditionally, the fronts have larger gap because that's the direction you're
impacting first, heavier weight, and for the most part....bears the brunt of
the vertical force.
i'm with you - don't mind the forward rake, especially since my pre-facelift
model looks a bit thick. but your facelifted hood does give it a bit more slope.
eyed from the side and focusing on the wheel gap, yeah, it's annoying to have
wider gap in front....though functionally, it's actually better.
maybe try #4 in back and if you still need to....and can afford it, go with
next shorter pad in front ?! between each step/pad you gain/lose about
4mm.

I have a 2002 E320 Sport/Special Edition.
I just had a set of Eibach Springs installed on my car (May). The front's o.k. if you buy the extra long bolts from the dealer to adjust the fromt camber. The rear is a different story. I am running a negative 2 degrees of camber, which isn't good for tire wear. Plus, the rear is a little too low, and it too has a rake (to the rear)?
After much effort, I purchased and recieved the Adjustable Rear Camber arms from LenSolo. I'm going to have them installed next week, so now I'll look into getting a pair of #3 and #4 Spring Pads.
I too agree with Bossman, at the minimum I want the car to sit level.
