Question D2 Coilover Kit

Has anyone installed the D2 coilover kit on a W210 chassis? From their web site it looks like a "true" coilover setup and not simply adjustable spring perches. The retail is about $1400 but it can be found for under $1000. That price seems pretty low, particularly since it would mean a spring perch fix at the same time as a suspension upgrade. The only reviews I found online were for McPherson strut cars so the applicability to an E-Class is limited.

Coilovers and Spring Rates

Thanks for the reply. Unless they'll let me specify spring rates (and if the damping can be dialed out enough) I'll keep looking. I'm not trying to turn an E300D into a track car, (kinda' like putting a grandmother in spandex). Mostly I was looking for a spring perch repair and needing new shocks simultaneously. A handling upgrade would be a bonus.

Does anyone know what the stock spring rates ('97 E300D) are?

I also found these:

but again no independent reviews on anything similar to an E-class
