Sorry to be late in responding. Yes, we welcome non-members. The event will be at the Williamsburg Hospitality House, 415 Richmond Road. The doors open at 9:00 a.m. and brunch is from 10:00 a.m. 'till noon. A period balladeer will perform from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The charge is $20.00 per non-member. There will be a raffle of door prizes (mostly stuff donated by dealers). If you like I will send the complete write-up, menu and directions to your private E-mail address. Anybody else out there interested?

Don't know how this process is getting so expensive.. Last I checked, the option of power rear window shade is $440 in euro models.
I checked it, yes it is $440. Its called Rear Window Power Sunshade. The side rear windows are $320. If we want to retrofit, it costs $1200 or more?

That is not at all unusual. It is sort of "folk history" that to build a car from parts would cost many, many times more that the car cost assembled.

I don't believe the retrofit cost me that much...Shop around for the parts. I believe you can beat some of the costs cited earlier.
Another way of looking at it: I'd rather spend more than the original option costs if it gets me a feature I really want. Spread out over the time I'll own the car, it's just pennies a day.
