Fuel pump noise?
at idle i can hear a noise from the trunk area, sounds like a power antenna closing (if you know that type of sound) but it's only for one click/or noise not real click hard to describe, then no sound, then about 10-15secs again the sound...
i haven't timed it exactly but it's approximate and time in between seems to be about the same.
all i can think of is the fuel pump back there?
anyone have any ideas on this?
sounds almost like the air valves in the front but comes from the trunk and it's lounder than the air valves
btw no signs of anything not running right, just the noise that's driving me insane
since i'm here, on a separate issue, i have a rattle somewhere in the trunk as well that i haven't found the source for it yet, maybe speakers, because i took the spare out along with the trunk floor cover and still had the rattle, it's not the cd changer, not the tools, am I missing something obvious before i take the liners apart?
i know "i'm not hearing things"
