Question 4matic

is there anyway to tell if an E class is 4-matic or not just by looking? I mean are there any differences inside the car or on the engine?

Engines and everything are all the same.

There will be a "4MATIC" badge on the right/rear of the car, opposite from the model badge. Thats the best way to tell.

4matic owners out there..

does the 4matic ride higher than a standard W210?

I'm just curious to why my pal's 325xi rides higher than the RWD model, and why his dealer says it's not possible to lower the car.

Also on the 4 Matic E class there is no map net on the pass side of the trans tunnel and the tummel has more of a bulge than the non 4 Matic.
