Question on foot brake and key programming
Have 2 questions on my 2002 E320:
1. There used to be a mechanical click when pushing down the foot brake but somehow disappeared recently. Foot brake operation is still normal and confirmed with dealer. Is there something broken that may give a potential problem? Is it a DIY fix?
2. Is there a DIY instruction to program the key so that pushing the remote door unlock button first time will unlock driver door only and second push will unlock all 4 doors?

I would not be concerned about the missing click. Regarding the remote locking if I remember correctly from the 01 E that I had some years ago there is a programming method to permit one push unlocks all or one push does just the drivers door and the second opens the rest of them. I believe the locking is all one push only for all doors. This programming should be in the manual

To change how many doors open with one push of the unlock button hold down the lock/unlock buttons at the same time for a few seconds. The red light on the fob will flash and you're done.
