Rear View Mirror "Whirring" Sound
Hello there, I just got a 1996 E230 (W10) and the rear view mirror emits a slight whirring "motor like" sound. My frustration is that it is on and off. Can somebody please give me a hint on what it may be? I am new to the Benz world and this truly puzzles me. Thank you

Whirring sound...
Is most likely coming from the small fan located in the dome lamp cluster/housing above the mirror. The fan is related to the climate control system and is an inexpensive part.
