Yellow E Class????
I spoted a yellow E Class yesterday 11/10/02 in Naperville (West Suburb of Chicago). It actually looked like an 99 E55. First time ever saw a yellow benz. Don't know if the color is original or if the owner got it painted. Well, it looked very nice.

Took forever to sell it also. It was for sale once at www.discountsportscars.com in Montclair California and also listed on Ebay. They listed it as being custom painted for some Hollywoof type I believe. It is not factory yellow.

Anyone know where to fin those AMG Monoblocks in 18" chrome for a reasonable price? They have them in the PerformanceProducts catalog, but everything there is ridiculously overpriced... :-)

'98 E320
My '79 450 SL, "Poupon", was just about that color. It was a thing of beauty and I miss it to this day. Not sure I'd want that color on my sedan though ......... but now consider a John Deer green E (w/ bright yellow alloys) or perhaps a Mary Kay MB.

Guys, seriously it didn't look hat bad as it does in the picture. It flew pass me on a 35mph zone. I don't think that the one I saw had crome wheels. Anyways, what do you guys think about the blue color on the E class. I don't know what blue it is but it usually comes on M3's (BMW).

Man, lets go back to the 70's/80's...
My mums 116 280SE was sahara yellow (like dirty yellow)
Friend had a Canary yellow 126 280SE (nicknamed BigBird...THAT was a bright yellow
)
Then there was Mimosa yellow (like a greeny yellow), which was, ahh, an interesting 116-era colour
theres a heap more, just can't remember them atm (thats gonna make me look at all the old paint books...)
