Help. This just happened yesterday. My car's key can't lock or unlock my car by pressing a button . I replaced the battery in car key and it still does not work. Anyone has run into this problem? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

After a battery change in the key, it must be re-synced to the car. The instructions are in your owner's manual...

Not sure if there is a time delay or not, After pressing key's button several times without success, I gave up, ... Then, in the morning , I tried again and it works as normal without any reprogramming. Thanks ALL for input. Thanks JR

Did you drop your key right before the remote stopped working? I had the same problem, and I'm guessing the electronics broke from my dropping it too many times over 11 years. And a new key was too expensive -- I think it was a couple of hundred dollars.

I've changed the battery before several times, and I never had to re-sync the key, but I'll double-check the instructions in the owner's manual.
